Chaos and violence continue, the US military announces another death, no cutbacks (let alone withdrawals) is the word, al-Maliki pretends his feelings are hurt, Adam Kokesh shares his thoughts at a rally in Minn., and more. Starting with the news of no 'cutback' (forget withdrawal). Tony Capaccio (Bloomberg News) explains, "Top U.S. military advisers have recommended that President George W. Bush delay futher combat-troop withdrawals from Iraq until early next year, according to two administration officials." Julian E. Barnes (Los Angeles Times) reveals, "Under the recommendation, the current level of about 140,000 troops would remain in Iraq through the end of Bush's presidency in January. Then a combat brigade of about 3,500 troops would be removed by February a senior Pentagon official said, speaking on condition of anonymity because the recommendation has not been made public." ... What does it feel like "dibomohkan"..? When he told me that he went to a "bomoh" to 'cure-my-change-of-heart', I was like - "Shit...What the f..." I never really believed with all those vada-voom kind of thing. I've heard of it, seen one of the victim, who looks eerily scary to me, and being told with lots of stories about it - and no, I never really experienced it. It's kinda scary though thinking if it really does happen to me. Will it hurt? Will I lost my memories? What will happen to the old me? Will I eat shit? Lost my concience? Lost interest with Gondola? And fall in love more and more with the guy who had hit me? Which comes to the next question - does this little sore throat somehow related to the "dibomohkan" thingy? I thought it's just a light pre-Ramadhan syndrome. Eerily scary wa cakap lu. So, I ended up solving things my own way - by sleeping! I blame him for making me feel overdosed with 'beruang berhibernasi' sickness. It makes me feel fat! So,... (more)
